slinky is a professional breakbeat DJ with 15 years experience
and 4 years-production experience. He originates from Byron
Bay Australia and now lives in Brighton (UK). He has been at
the forefront of Australian breakbeat parties, organizing and
playing at renowned beach parties on the far north coast of
N.S.W, with attendances of 2000+, and now holds a residency
at clubnight B-Side at The Riki Tik Bar and Water Margin Bar
in Brighton, and “My Tune is
Too Big” @ Inigo Bar in South London featuring such names
as Rob Reng, Chris Carter, JDS, Hyper and Plaza De Funk.
He has toured and played extensively throughout Europe in notable
breakbeat clubs such as Ministry of Sound (UK) “Off the Wall”
(Chew the Fat) supporting General Midi, Supercharged @ Audio (UK)
supporting the Drumattic Twins, The Bug Bar (UK) supporting Meat
Katie ,“Reactor” (Sweden), and De Vloer (Holland). He
has also headlined the breaks room of Space Place festival in Celje
of Slovenia. Slinky has upcoming tours in South Africa and Russia.

Slinky has two releases on Australian shores, “New Life”
on Dose Records and "Endless Travel" on Happy People Productions,
and two releases on UK shores (a remix for the Groove Diggerz and
a remix of Seph One’s “Sickly Cryptic), and a dozen
tracks licensed to Tree-Top CD's in Holland.

Slinky's breakbeat radio show "Down & Out" was running
on Bay-FM 99.9 in Australia for 4 years featuring the forefront
of breakbeat styles, then moved to NSB Internet radio station on
Tuesdays. Slinky is now on hold from Radio for Production commitments.
He also occasionally appears on Sokolov Sounds radio show on Sundays
and has played on I-Breaks internet radio (UK).
DJ Slinky is now living in Brighton to pursue a career in music
production and continue his DJ performances with gigs at infamous
“Supercharged” and “Off the Wall” (Ministry
of Sound) gigs. He was recently working in Bombay, India for an
8 month contract. He has plans to work in the studio with No Hands
(Diverted Traffik), Soul of Man (Fingerlicking), Cakeboy (Cup of
Tea Records), Digitalis / 8 Ball (Matsuri / Point Red) and play
live.
